The facilities provided for guests at Silver Glades are aimed at making their experience of the Park as enjoyable as possible.  Guests should find everything needed during the course of their stay, including equipment and information:

The site Reception/Information Office is always open for guests and houses a wide range of literature and information, which includes Tourist information leaflets; a lending library of books; Jig-saws for loan; playing cards and other games; local walk leaflets; reference information; compliance folders; guest Comment and Fault books.

A site car park has one parking space per caravan.  Space for additional vehicles may be available by prior agreement.  Cars are not allowed in the grounds to preserve the tranquillity of the site and ensure a safe environment.  Bicycles are most welcome and younger children can ride in the garden under supervision. 

Luggage trolleys are provided to enable guests to move their luggage to and from the car park.  Distances from the car park are not huge, the furthest being approximately 100 metres away. However, if mobility is a problem, please remember to request a caravan close to the car park.

The site laundry room has a range of domestic appliances available including washing machine; outside clothes lines; tumble dryer; spin dryer; iron and ironing board. 

A Cleaning Room houses mops and vacuum cleaners to augment the cleaning products and materials which can be found in all caravans.

The Refuse Disposal Area has general waste bins, as well as containers for recycling (glass, card, polythene, aluminium and metal).  In addition, each caravan has a kitchen caddy outside for compostable waste disposal.

In the grounds which comprise a large garden and an area of woodland, you will find concrete paths connecting all the caravans with the facilities in the garden and gravel paths in the woodland area.  Seating is provided in various locations around the garden.

Portable BBQ’s are available on request for use outside your caravan.  Most guests use these with their own disposable BBQ tray but they can also be used with charcoal.  These are free of charge on the basis that they are cleaned before return.

Travel Cots are available if you do not wish to bring your own.  However, travel cots must be requested at the time of booking to avoid disappointment, particularly at peak times.
